ClearLane® enhanced deicer

A pre-wet sodium chloride made from a patented liquid magnesium chloride formula and mixing process from Cargill Deicing Technology. Combined with pre-wetting and deicing agents, including a PNS-approved corrosion inhibitor, a coloring agent, and a leaching inhibitor, ClearLane® enhanced deicer is a superior deicer for effective winter road maintenance that’s anti-corrosive, better for the environment than traditional road salt and an alternative to road salt. The newly formulated ClearLane® enhanced deicer carries the distinguished Safer Choice label, granted by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). This distinction is only allotted to products deemed safer when compared to other chemicals in their class.

Ice Patrol® Halite Ice Melt Salt is an economical and effective ice melt with optimally sized granules of large and small crystals of natural sodium chloride for maximum performance. Smaller crystals melt on contact, while larger crystals provide longevity and instant traction. The ice melt salt flows freely through commercial spreaders.

Morton® SAFE-T-SALT Rock Salt

Morton® SAFE-T-SALT Halite Rock Salt is a white crystal, economical and effective ice melt with optimally sized granules of large and small crystals of natural sodium chloride for maximum performance. Melts to 5° F. Smaller crystals melt on contact, while larger crystals provide longevity and instant traction. The ice melt salt flows freely through commercial spreaders.

American Rock Salt Halite Ice Melt

American Rock Salt Halite is fast acting and has superior melting power. American Rock Salt Halite begins melting ice quickly and keeps melting which is made possible through multiple-sized crystals. The smallest crystals dissolve quickly while the larger crystals last longer, reducing the amount of rock salt needed. Easy to apply, this product may be safely used on most surfaces ranging from blacktop, wood, stone, and gravel to properly cured air entrained concrete.

MAG® Brand Magnesium Chloride Pellets

Magnesium Chloride melts effectively down to -15°F and is proven to be a more effective, less damaging and environmentally safer ice melter. Magnesium Chloride is environmentally friendlier because on a pound for pound basis, it contains 43% less chlorides than rock salt (sodium chloride) and results in significantly less chloride runoff than potassium or calcium chloride. Magnesium chloride is also safer to use around plants and bushes and is less corrosive on steel, tin and aluminum than calcium and sodium chloride which can result in less breakdown of these metals into soil.

Made in the USA. Calcium Chloride is typically recognized as the most effective, affordable dry, granular product in pellet or flake form for melting ice and snow. Calcium Chloride can melt down to -25°F practical melting temperature. This means calcium chloride ice melt is one of the most effective ice melters during harsh winter conditions and heavy snowstorms. Since Calcium Chloride can melt ice at a rapid speed and at very low temperatures and may be your most cost-effective ice melter solution. Peladow™ Brand Calcium Chloride Pellets are special order in full truckload quantities. 

DOWFLAKE XTRA Calcium Chloride Flakes 83-87%

Made in the USA. Contains a higher concentration rate of 83-87% calcium chloride vs. conventional 77-80% flakes. Applications include ice melting down to -25°F, dust control, concrete acceleration for reduced time for initial and final set, increased early strength and protection in cold weather as well as tire weighting and brine refrigeration. Unlike other processes used to produce calcium chloride, the brine process does not involve reactions with chemicals such as hydrochloric acid or ammonia and is classified as “non-synthetic”.

Safer Than Salt® Commercial Blend (Safety Rose Coating)

Commercial ice melt formulation that is safer for the environment while still being a fast acting, long lasting formulation. Enhanced with CMA and magnesium chloride with highly visible rose color to avoid over-application.

Specially formulated and effective to -20 degree range, Ice Burner® Treated Ice Melter performs at lower temperatures and is color coated for visual coverage. Triple screened for consistent granulation and providing instant traction, this product features superior lasting performance. Contains Magnesium Chloride, Calcium Chloride and Potassium Chloride. 

Mr. Magic® Blend, (Safety Orange Coating)

A fast acting, long lasting formulation ice melt that requires less than competing ice melt for the same desired effect. Easier on the environment, concrete, brick and wood this blend is safer for pets and has a safety orange coating for high visibility.

Zero Ice® (Aqua Tinted Crystals)

A 3-way melting action containing magnesium, potassium and sodium chlorides melts to temperatures below 0°F with easy-to-see aqua tinted crystals. Won’t harm surfaces when used as directed.
