Bulk Liquid Salt is available in bulk tanker trailer loads (4,200 – 5,800 gallons per load) or less than truckload (500-1,500 gallons) and shipped plant direct to the customer’s end use location or to Harvey Salt’s designated transfer station with protocol and quality standards strictly enforced.
Bulk Liquid Salt is obtained from underground salt deposits by deep well mining solution directly at the producing plant which may also be a food grade salt production facility.
Bulk Liquid Salt has a very low hardness and is also low in suspended solids.
Recommended as a source of Sodium in production and a wide variety of industrial applications.
Plant direct shipments means quality and purity is assured as each bulk liquid tanker trailer is sealed with a unique seal number applied at the food grade salt plant. This seal number is tracked on the Bill of Lading and delivery ticket. The seal is broken only upon arrival at the customer’s site or at our designated transfer station.
Bulk Liquid Salt ships with a Plant Producing Certificate of Quality / Certificate of Analysis (COA) for each load. This is your assurance the bulk brine meets the producing plants onsite lab certifications. The Certificate of Quality is signed by the Quality Assurance Manager of the lab at this food grade salt producing plant. Data analysis on the COA certifies sodium chloride (as a percent), calcium (ppm), Magnesium (ppm), Sulfate (ppm), pH and Alkalinity (Bicarbonate) as ppm.
Data on the Certificate of Quality is obtained from samples collected according to procedures set forth in the Quality Assurance Program. Analytical methods and chemical properties of the food grade salt producing plant are available upon request.
Additionally, stringent microbiological assessment data as part of a food safety program completed by the Technical Manager of the food grade plant and reviewed by the Quality Control department is also available upon request.
Don’t compromise on quality. When purity and integrity of your fully saturated Bulk Liquid Salt are vital, you will want to choose shipments of brine from a producing plant using rigorous analytical standards and safeguards in the production process chain together with the strict shipping safety procedures of The Harvey Salt Company.
